Cornell Grade School

Leah Smith was involved with many activities during her time at Cornell Grade School. She was involved in 4H from K-8th grades, volleyball from 2nd-8th grades, T-ball and softball from K-8th, basketball during 3rd-8th grades, track from 5th-8th grades, speech 5th-8th grades, band (clarinet) during 4th grade, student council from 6-8th grades, and competed in dog shows 4th-6th grades. She won many awards in all of these activities including coming in 2nd place in State in track, Falcon Award in basketball, Sportsmanship, and two firsts in speech competitions. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, writing, playing outside, sports and baking. Green, blue, and purple are her favorite colors and pizza is her favorite food and she loves to be home. Leah is looking forward to FFA and softball in high school. She will also join volleyball and track. She plans on going to college and medical school to become a radiologist physician.
